1969 Dodge Polara Spring Special

1969 Dodge
Polara 2dr Coupe
W/ Spring Special option
AZ desert survivor

What a land yacht, in pea green metallic
FAIR RESERVE ...bid on it to win !
Runs and by runs, I mean it starts when it feels like it, but when it
Does start, the motor sounds great and no blue smoke or blow-by.
That being said, it will prob need a carb rebuild, tune up and possibly
the gas tank drained and cleaned. But at the moment its running off
the stock fuel pump and tank..... but has not been a daily driver about 5 yrs.
I cant imagine that more then a few hundred are still on the road.
THIS is nice rust free Az car and will put a smile on your
face every time you go out to work on it.
I think it would RESTO-MOD very well or just do a nice original
restoration on it over time

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This MOPAR has been in Az for many moons, possibly its whole life. It was retired and
put away about 5 yrs ago where it was just driven maybe once a month to the
store. Motor has a noise but it seems to come and go, and more under a load. Ive
had one of these before make the noise and it turned out to be the AC compressor.
Its a 400 V8 auto car. Wide as hell and Az has been hard on the plastic and rubber but
the body, floors and frame are 90% rot free. All the glass is good too except for
the windshield, I think it has a crack. Ill double check. Starts up well when cold and
runs okay, but Im sure it will need a tune up and prob some carb work. After it warms
up and I drive it, its a little harder to start, but it does. Battery is decent. Tires are
almost new, but about 7 yrs old.
Body is very clean, whats left of the original Green paint has a nice patina to it.
Interior showing alot of wear. Brakes work enough to move it around. Prob good
idea to bleed them again.
SEE PLENTY OF PICS BELOW TO SEE THE STORY.
MUCH MORE INFO BELOW
ITS NOT RESTORED it is a used car and could use some restoration.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.

DRIVETRAIN: Under the hood is very complete for the most
part, and very original 318 2v car with an auto behind it. It does
have factory AC, PS and PB. Motor sounds good when I can get it to start. Mostly carb issues and a hint of older gas still
in the tank. ( I may run it off a small container of fuel under the hood to see if it runs better for now)

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the cars been in AZ pretty
much its whole life and the interior mostly complete, needs ALOT ofrestoring here too. The floors are very solid inside and out.Its dilapidatedyes, but not un restorable either. Glass is ALL good. No rot on the tailgate. The 3rd row
seats havent been used in over 40 yrs and is missing the seat bottom.
All 4 windows roll up and down but the tracks are very dry. Expect the interior to be very dry and old.
Think all the gauges work in the dash too, they moved when
it was running at least.

EXTERIOR:the body is very straight for its age, dont see too
much sign of any major damage, check out all the pics.Whats left ofthe paint, is 40+ yrs of mother nature doing what she does best to old enamel paint in the Az climate. Rest of the body is in pretty amazing shape as is the stainless trim around the car. They dont make cars like this anymore, and its sad. But this one will live on thats for sure, but I dont see ANY signs of previous accidents or damage.
Just as is, it commands alot of attention. Even AS IS people love it.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. Im sure some of the bushings are dry rot, and but Im sure the buyer has bigger plans for it.
BEST part about the suspension, Torsion Bar front end :)
Give it the rake it deserves.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scrollbar on the right side. OR EMAIL ME if you cant see them all.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate, more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

Probably The BEST represented MOPARS on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you asmuch feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.If they cant take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance and you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our carswith great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.

I can either upload it to youtube or text it to you, just email

Also the bottom rear seat cushion is NOT missing but a
trim piece off the dashboard is missing around the radio
area.
Also the stock mechanical fuel pump may be weak or again the
pick up in the tank may be getting clogged.
