1969 Dodge Polara 500 Convertible 383 Barn Find No Reserve 67 68 70 71 Mopar

Price: - Item location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States
Description:

1969 Dodge Polara 500

This is a Very Original 1968 Dodge Polara 599 Convertible.
It is one of only 573 Polara 500 Convertibles built in 1969.
It was last titled in 1985, since then it has been stored in a barn in Central Texas.
The Polara is very complete and original.
The 383 Motor looks to be the motor that originally came with the car, unfortunately there is no way to see the vin without removing or lifting the motor. We have attempted to turn the motor over by hand but it would not move. we were told by the previous owner that the Polara was running and driving fine when it was parked due to a broken windshield.
This car is very complete and it would be possible to restor, It would also be a great parts car-It has a lot of very rare convertible parts.
The body and upper sheet metal in the Polara are in pretty good condition for the age. It will need a complete new trunk pan and the back seat floor pans will need to be replaced. Under the car the frame rails are mostly solid but there are a few areas that will need attention in the rear of the Polara. The convertible top frame is in very good condition and the Hydraulic system still works fine ( we have a video of it in operation )
The interior is complete but all of the seats will need to be redone.
included in this auction we also have a replacement original grille.
The wheels and tires seen in the photos are not included we will provide rollers that will hold air for transport.
We have a Clear Texas Bonded Title.
We will be glad to have you pick the Polara up here or we can help your shipper with loading.
If you have less than 10 feedback please contact us before you bid. we may cancel low or 0 feedback bids.
We have lots of additional Photos and a video , You can see them on our website moparsoftexas.com or follow the link to our Photo site.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I'll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier's check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.

I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions.

BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message.
