1955 Dodge C Series 1/2 Ton Work Truck
1955 Dodge C-1-B, 1/2 ton pickup truck with utitlty box.
This truck is equipped with a 318 Dodge V8. The truck was a runner until a previous owner started to replace the clutch. Lost interest mid replacement and the truck has sat since. Needs a clutch installed.
Truck currently rolls and steers freely.
Very solid sheet metal with next to no rust. As soon as I claim that it is rust free, something will show up. But, very clean and solid truck.
The story I got was that it was originally a mechanics service vehicle at a Dodge dealership in Central Washington.
In addition to the utility box, there is also a hydraulic "cherry picker" mounted in the bed. Crane works great.
This would be an awesome truck to restore or for a custom truck build. Either way, you won't park next to one like it at the next car show.
