1970 Dodge D/W Series D200 Pickup Green RWD Manual Utility
1970 Dodge D/W Series Utility
Vehicle DetailsThe old timer I recently bought this from used the truck to collect his firewood once a year. He owned the truck for 30 years. He told me the things he did to the truck were enough to keep it drivable, valves to accept unleaded gas, radiator re cored, drums all around, tires etc. Wasn’t concerning the slightest about trim, rubber bushings or appearance. He non op-ed it few years ago, there are no back fees and the title is clear.
I replaced the muffler 5 minutes after buying it then hopped on the freeway for my 80 mile drive home.
It can be driven as it is however it needs a lot of tinkering. I thought about replacing the carb but it would be a waste of money since the new owner will do much better than that.
Tinker away with current drive train or if you are a serious enthusiast builder who is tired of the same ol same ol this truck is for you. People say way too much the possibilities are endless, ha, well they are with this Mopar. The ultimate tailgater, shop truck, Rat Rod with Hemi put her in the weeds…
Was property of US Army as a field service maintenance truck before serving the Keswick FD in Shasta Co as a search and rescue vehicle. Between the FD and Army the electrical needs going thru. The headlights and taillights work as they should, not much else electrical wise. Floor pans and rockers have rust and aome along the utility box. Not enough to concern me if if I was keeping it.
All doors on box open and latch close as they should with locking cylinders missing on a couple.
Bench seat and visors redone. Wing windows open and close and the windows roll up and down
