1978 datsun 280z for sale
1978 Datsun Z-Series
I purchased this car in 2004 with the intention of restoring it in to my dream car... I took it to a mechanic in 2008 and had almost $4000 worth of work done, including an engine rebuild. Shortly after that I parked the car, and life took place, and the car did not end up being part of that life. It does have some rust, but is a fairly solid car, and most of the repair panels for a 280Z car are readily available. The last time I tried to start it I was told that it needed a new mass airflow sensor, and that the fuel injectors probably need to be replaced or cleaned. I did purchase a new mass airflow sensor, and it is in the car, but other than that it has just been waiting for someone to put some love in to the car! It does come with new carpets for the front floor. The black window vents also come with the car, but are not currently attached. The ignition had an issue, and a new ignition was installed, but never quite finished. I am pretty sure that the trim parts are all still there, but can't guarantee that... The rear hatch has been forced open before I got the car, and there is some minor damage to the area where the lock goes, and there is currently no lock in the rear hatch. There is a dash cover over the original dash. The car is located near Salt Lake City, Utah, and once again, it is not in running condition at this time. The tires are all good, and it rolls fine.
