REAL 1972 Z/28RS Camaro 4spd would have had a 350 from the factory but has no engine now. Rare car because less than 2600 Z/28’s was ever made in 1972. Comes with M22 4spd transmission but cannot determine if it came with the car, because the stamping is not clear. (possible warranty replacement) but for sure a M22. I purchased the car a couple of years ago but cannot find the time to restore it. I understand how hard it is to buy a car online so I have added as many pictures as possible and be as descriptive as possible so you can make a good determination.

Cons: Passenger quarter has been replaced but never finished. Some pieces of metal welded in front of rear tire area on passenger side. Drivers quarter has small rust hole behind wheel and a dent in upper portion. RS grill surround has crack. Rear part of roof has dent. (see pictures). Car has rust thru in floors, trunk, rear frame rails, where lower quarters meet doors, taillight panel, quarter inner lower panels and other places. Rear lower valance has been body puttied to the quarters. Please look at pictures carefully before bidding. Needs glass except for passenger side. No engine, driveshaft, bellhousing, front fender liners and other parts I’m sure.

Pros: True 1972 Z/28 RS Split Bumper, Front of car is decent. Hood, fenders, front end, grill, doors, dash area where the metal meets the pillars in good shape., steering wheel, nice dash, instrument cluster, original keys, a few engine parts, 4 row radiator with twin electric fans, 100’s of original parts (see pictures). Re upholstered seats front and back, has good metal around front/rear glass, Muncie M22 (RockCrusher) 4 speed transmission. 10 bolt posi 3.73 gears? rear end with sway bar, traction bars, pedal assembly in place, Trim tag shows Z28 option, Originally a silver and black car with black interior. Car has a bonded title. Please check with your local DMV for clarity before bidding. This is a rare opportunity to own a pretty rare car. Defiantly worth bringing back.

All in all this is a 1972 Z/28 Rally Sport that left the factory wearing silver paint with black stripes and black interior. 350 M22 4spd 10 bolt Posi.
