Up for sale is a 1971 True Rally Sport Split Bumper Car. It has the original 350 Engine with the the partial vin number 554108 Stamped on block.It looks pretty original under the hood. It has front disc brake and drum rear. This car was a factory non airnon power brake car but does havepower steering. This car is an original Sunflower Yellow paint code 52. Interior was standard black 775 code. The rust issues on this car are trunk panfloor pans and driver rear quarter at bottom. There is rust on passenger front fender at bottom and some type of repair at the top above wheel openingbut I think buying another fender solves that problem. I have tried to take the rust pictures so you can see whats going on. The rockersframe rails and bottom of the doors look good. Around the front and rear glass looks good with a little surface rust at the bottom of the rear glass. This car had been sitting for over 10 years with a car cover over it when I found it. I was told it was running and driving when parked. I have put a battery in it and the engine turns over easily with the starter. I have notactually by passedthe gas tank to try and start it on fresh gas but its not locked up for sure. The owner stated that the transmission wasleaking trans fluid is the reason he parked it. So other than the rust issues that a lot of these un-restored cars have its a good car to put back like you want.Alsoremember that the only true split bumper cars are the ones with the Rally Sport Package. The parking lights are above the bumpers makes it a truesplit bumper car. I have priced the car to sale so bid to get you a 71 Camaro RS.
