If you have been looking for a real Big Block SS Chevelle, you will have a difficult time finding a nicer, turnkey car for the money. This is an outstanding 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport that is ready to enjoy and win a show the day that you get it. THIS IS A TRUE SS, NOT A CLONE! The car is rust free and arrow straight. It was restored about 20 years ago so there will be minor chips and small touch up spots but the car still shows very well today. The paint is excellent and has been re-done in it's factory correct Chateau Slate/Silver color. The body is excellent. The floorboards and trunk are very solid. The chrome is excellent.

It is a matching number 396/360HP EF suffix code Big Block Chevy. The engine was completely gone through and built approximately 5000 miles ago. It is now a full roller motor and dyno tested at 475 horsepower. It is ALOT more fun than a bone stock Chevelle! The car runs and drive beautifully. It always starts right up, settles into a healthy idle, and is ready to go. It has great street manners and a big aluminum radiator so it never gets hot, even in Southern California traffic. The exhaust has a great tone to it and, if that isn't enough for you, it also has electric cutouts so you run open exhaust at the push of a button.

The 4 Speed manual transmission shifts very smoothly. Hurst shifter, factory center console with clock. Knee Knocker Tachometer, power steering, power front disc brakes. The clutch and brakes are both excellent. The odometer shows 35k but I have no way of knowing if that is 35k, 135k, or if it was reset when the restoration was performed. The interior is awesome. The upholstery looks factory correct but it was actually replicated by Legendary Leathers for a stock appearance but using high end leather. IT WAS NOT CHEAP! The dashpad is excellent. The door panels are excellent. The headliner is excellent. The carpet is excellent. The console is excellent. American Racing wheels. I also have Rally wheels with Redlines that are included if you want them.

All in all, this is just a nice, nice Chevelle. It is not perfect. None of them that have been enjoyed are perfect. However, it is not one that you get and have to start fixing things. It is one that you roll out of your garage and go have fun. Clean, clear California title in hand. You would spend well into the six figures to restore this car yourself. If you can find a nicer Chevelle for the money, you should buy it.
