It is a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed. This is a real 138 car. Numbers matching 396 with the original 4 speed. Car also retains its original 12 bolt rear axle. This car has been sitting for a number of years (right around 30) that being said it will need some love to get back up and going. Cranks over freely and strong, trans goes into all gears. All of the lights horn etc work. Gas tank was taken out and discarded. Interior of this car is in really nice shape. Bucket seats have no rips, tracks slide good and have no rust. Back seat is in great shape along with the headliner. Dash pad needs replaced like every other one. 4 speed console is in great shape. It has an aftermarket afx shifter but i do have the original shifter and linkages. The body of this car could use some love. The floors will need patches, drivers side rocker needs fixed or replaced. Trunk is in solid shape. Quarters are in good shape with some minor rust. Roof and back window are in very solid shape. Hood needs work or replaced. Doors are good. All of the glass is in great shape. Overall this is a great investment/ Project car that has survived the years
