1968 Chevrolet Caprice

Up for auction is my favorite car for the last 3yrs I believe it time to move on to something else but hope I'm making the right decision.Took a long time to find a wagon like this and I'm sure theres not alot around like it.It's a factory Loaded Big block 396-325 hp engine that's never been out or apart to my knowledge with its IV code and VIN# on the pad and still runs and drives excellent. No valve taps or smoke even thou it has a little over 100,000 miles on her. Judging by the survivor condition I believe it's been well taken care of since new. Also has its original transmission CA code and 12 bolt HD rear.Options are as follows and I have removed the original build sheet from under the front bench which confirms it left the factory as a 396 wagon with power steering, power front 4 piston disc brakes like a Corvette, power windows and seat, tilt wheel and working cruise control, Am radio with Rare working 8 track player with the 4 speaker multiplex,VERY RARE COMFORTRON AIR that works,tinted glass,door edge guards, Roof Rack and deflector, bumper guards, Front cornering lamps,Rally wheels and Very Rare Front Headrest seats. Theres probably a few more. Everything works including the choke in the morning. I rebuilt the calipers when I got it and performed other matinence and it has never let me down. It's been a pleasure to own.Like I said earlier it's a survivor car wearing alot of its original paint and woodgrain, all its interior is original and in excellent shape but there a couple splits starting in the front seat on the bottom. By no means a perfect car but a great unrestored example. The original bumpers and stainless are exceptional for a 50yr old car.If your looking for a great old car that you can take to shows and hold the crowd then this is the car. This car draws more attention to it than any other muscle car I've ever shown Everybody has a story.
