Damage/Repairs

- Small leak in the head gasket, it will need to be replaced soon.-The obvious exterior damage, both of which were caused by stationary collisions, i.e. someone backing into the car while parked. Additionally, the paint is quickly deteriorating.

- The driver seat is in the process of collapsing.

- Dents on the underbody from improper jacking from the last owner.

- Steering rack is wearing out and will need to be replaced at some point.

- Various parts of the suspension are also neering their best by date.

- Power steering pump is missing.

- Needs an oil change soon

- If you want a complete overview of the car's issues, I can get a document from German Autosport in Berkeley outlining all the issues. They have serviced the car for 5 years now.

Highlights

- I am the third owner, the previous owner was a family member, and the car has been in the family since 2007.

- Clean title and has not been totaled.

- Only 145k mile on the odometer.

- For the last 5 years it's been a light use vehicle, at the most 1k-2k miles a year.

- 2020: Replaced fuel injector, choke gasket and plate, fan clutch, and thermostat.

- 2019: Replaced brake pad wear sensor, fuel hoses, windshield, and heater core.

- 2018: Replaced battery, rear brake rotor and pads, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, rocker shaft plug, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, odometer, coolant temp sensor, rebuilt drive shaft.

- No body rust that I am aware of.

- Z3 Limited slip differential installed in 2015.

- I have repair/maintenance records going back to 2014

- I have run the car on 91 octane fuel since receiving it in 2014

- The car has had regular oil changes.

Transport

- The car would be ok for short distances within the Bay Area, any longer and you might want to consider bringing a trailer.

- I will facilitate an out-of-state pick-up, but have limited availability.

If you are looking for a project car with a good core and aren't afraid to get your hands greasy, this is a perfect e30. I still have the work orders for all of these repairs. I have plenty more pictures and can try to answer any questions you have.
