1955 BMW VELAM ISETTA VERY RARE 1ST SERIE MADE IN FRANCE ***50 PICS***
No it is not a BMW isetta, you look at the original one, the highly collectible 1st serie.An Italian company named ISO built the isetta and sold the plan to France, they built the most desirable 1st serie, later they sold the plan to BMW and they made a massive production.The First serie was called the bubble car, it is a low production car, the french version was built by Velam and called Velam isetta. The french version is the pinnacle of the 1st serie, it is even more roundish and have a more luxurious details and interior. It is an homemade car that was built in the door of Paris in the old factory of Talbot in the city of Suresnes, France. As the 1st serie it have the twin cylinders Puch 236cc (14ci) 2 stroke engine. This low production car is even rarer with his discoverable top.Approximately 8000 1st serie was built, 1000 ISO was built in Italia and 7000 Velam in France.Around 150 000 2nd serie was built by BMW.
It was fully restaured by an enthusiast in 2012, no rust, no patch, no surprise, it is very clean inside and out, high quality paint show well, it is mechanically sound, ready for fun.One of the rare Velam that survived, not a lot 1st serie around the world...
