When the Triumph TR3 debuted in 1955, riumph intended not only to update the previous TR2 but also bring the driving experience and styling into the second half of the 1950s! The car debuted with the TR2’s 1991 Inline 4 cylinder motor that made 95 horsepower, lenty for a car that weighed just over 2,000 pounds. In 1957, he “TR3A” was launched, urther improving the car and incorporating wider front grille and front disc brakes, he first production car to feature them as standard equipment! TR3A production was around 58,000, f which less than 10,000 are documented to survive today!

All mechanicals up to date including electronic ignition. Needs a tune up but a fun driver. Needs a complete restoration but can drive in the meantime. New chrome 60 spoke rims. Have new floors, love box, nd front grill separate from car also the felt kit to reseat the fuel tank. The original side curtains are with the car as well. Car located about an hour north of NYC in NY not CT. Auction can end at any time. Car was originally black previous owner painted it white for some reason. Original engine. It has the optional back seat that you don't see too often. I would trailer the car before driving it any real distance until gone through.Email me with questions
