Up for auction is a rare first year 1969 Triumph TR-6. Rare car as they only made 6632 in the first year of production. She is a true numbers matching car with hard top and factory wire wheels. Heritage:This is a true numbers matching carandyou canorderaBritish Heritage Certificate from England or I can do it for you.The cars commission number is CC 29796 L, body tag number 29808 CC and the engine number is CC 29642 HE.

Mechanical s:The car runs great and drives very nicely. Car starts right up at the touch of the key. Runs drives great with no known issues. Oil pressure is about 55 lbs. at warm idle and around 70 lbs warm at speed. Car was just serviced with a complete tune up ( distributor cap, rotor button, ignitionwires, spark plugs ), oil change, oil filter, radiator serviced & new coolant added, new fuel sending unit and the carburetorswhere professionallytuned and balanced. Car has been upgraded to twin down draft Weber carburetors for better performance andreliability. Newer front and rear shocks as well.
Gauges:All original "Smith" gauges all of which are in working order at this time.

Electrical's: This area is in very good condition with the following items in proper working order. Head lights work ( high and low beam ), front maker lights work, front indicator lights work, front side markers work, front running lights work, rear running lights work, rear indicator lights work, rear side maker lights work, rear brake lights work, rear back up lights work and the licenceplate lights work.


Exterior:The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person. Nice driver quality car ( not a show car but darn she looks good ). The body is exceptionallystraight as you can see in the photos. Look at the panel fit of the doors, hood and truck - really clean and sharp. All original Triplex XXX glass for the windshieldand door glass. Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. New retractable chrome antenna, new chrome door mirrors, new chrome lower rocker panel strips, all new exterior badges and complete new rear bumper licenceplate assembly. Rare factory wire wheels really give her that true British period look.
Interior: As you can see its in very nice condition. Recent items includeda new dash top, dash face, door panels, door caps, new complete carpet kit and new Triumph logo floor mats. It should be noted that as you can see the car retains its one year only seats with the integratedfold down headrest and one year only steering wheel.
Hard Top:Yes the Parish hard top seen in the photos does come with the car.


Underbody:The underbody is ingood condition as seen in the photo.
