1984 Toyota Land Cruiser

1984 Toyota LandCruiser in Root Beer. [if you're reading this, the FJ60 is still available]

I don't drive this truck enough to keep it. I've had it since 2014. I love this car. It's one of the last trucks with an honest design about what it is and what it does. It's not posturing as an off-road capable car, like most modern SUVs, IT IS an extremely competent offroad truck. The build quality on these trucks in unprecedented. The UN still uses the LandCruiser around the world because of their build quality and capability. Often these trucks make it to 500,000 miles if well cared for.

This car has never caused me any trouble. It cold starts great. Inside the back of the truck with seats down, there's 6ft of space, so you can even sleep in it when camping!

Mileage: just below 156,000 mi

This is an old car, so it's not perfect, but it's in pretty amazing condition, with super low mileage. Car was repainted a few years ago (I don't know when) so the paint is fine. Truck has lived in California and Portland so it's holding up well without rust. I have some of the service records from the last 10 years, but not all of them. The last major work that was done was a carb rebuild, oil change, spark plug change over the last 4.5 years.

Some things to know (see images some of these too)

AC doesn't work (like most FJ60s)

One of the sun visors plastic vinyl is cracked (image)

There's a small tear in the front passenger seat (image)

Water/coolant pump is leaking - keep it topped and monitored until the water pump and gasket are checked/replaced!

There's a tear in the carpet in the back (image)

Tire was recently slashed in my neighborhood, so the full-size (normal rim) spare is on front-left tire!

Paint has some knicks and scratches in it

I am listing this on eBay for a week and if it doesn't sell here, I have many offers for it in San Francisco already.
