1983 Toyota Truck SR5

1983 Toyota SR5 4X4 Pickup truck with a 22r engine, manual 5 speed transmission, cold ac, hot heater, weber carburetor. Truck includes a tow bar and has been towed behind an RV. Odometer reads 150,300 and is being driven daily. Some of the 150k miles have been towing miles behind the rv.This truck has been owned by the same owner from 1987 till 2017. Truck originally was from Southern California and in 1987 lived in Lake Havasu city AZ in a garage when it wasn't being driven. You won't find a more rust free 1983 toyota truck around. It has 1 small spot in the rear bed fender/bodyline about the size of a dime. It has always been in a dry climate and never abused.The 22r runs strong and just had a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires installed. Never gets hot and runs at temperatures as it should. The a.c. blows cold and from what I can tell is the original a.c. system (r12). The original carb was replaced with a Weber. As far as I can tell all the emissions items are still on the truck except the factory carb. We do not have smog tests here in AZ so this was not a concern but it still has all the needed items aside from the carb. Transmission is a standard 5 speed manual and it goes smoothly into gear as it should. Transfer case shifts smoothly into all positions and wheel hubs turn easily. Truck has power steering that works as it should and the brakes have a few new parts as well and stop you as the should. All the lights work, radio works, blinkers work, clock works, no cracks in the dash, all gauges work, has an Ooga horn as well as the factory horn, wipers work, no cracks in glass, rear slider glass is in good shape, Stockland camper shell is in excellent shape, all camper glass is in good shape, no stress cracks in fiberglass, rear door shocks hold up rear access as they should, keyed lock works and has key, floor of bed is in excellent shape and has always had rubber mat, Bedliner and carpet to protect it. 2 seats in bed with seatbelts, Jack between seats and a custom a.c. tube that attaches to front vent in cab and blows cold air to the bed. Truck was repainted a number of years ago and is dull and doesnt have a great shine but looks nice none the less. The body is super straight and compared to all the other Toyotas is virtually rust free (small spot on rear fender, see pic). I have not seen another one of these trucks in this condition. The straight axle is very desirable and in this shape it's a rare find. I have the original manuals that came with the truck and a shop book for working on this truck that is included as well. With all that being said it is a 1983 used truck and it reflects used condition but not abused condition. If you have questions, need more info or pics PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU BID.
