1988 Porsche 911

SUPERB 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera G-50 coupein extremely fine overall condition that has been pampered its entire life and fully documented since new. Car has been constantly maintained by the best independent Porsche shops in the country with no expense spared regarding it's service and is complete with all books, records, tools and all accessories.
Showing just 79,000 miles all systems function as designed and this coupe drives exceptionally well and is super clean throughout. There has been one re-paint due to normal road rash and it was done to a high level......paint is as nice as can be and the interior is original and pristine. The ac works well and there are absolutely no issues to be sorted. Car fires right up with no smoke and has great oil pressure along with smoothe Porsche power - G-50 gearbox shifts flawlessly.
The 3.2 liter Carreras are extremely durable and this example has had all needed maintenance with fresh clutch replacement and top-end reseal within the past 10,000 miles. A classic air-cooled 911 in the best possible color.
The only paintwork that was done by the previous owner was the sunroof because his garage door scraped it when he was backing out. I have no documentation or knowledge of the total repaint prior however it certainly was done well. One of the key elements to look at on the G50s specifically are the VIN stickers on each panel on the car. This is very important to have since they are protective and not able to reproduce. This car has every panel with matching VIN stickers. The most difficult panel to find the stickers on are the front fenders. The stickers are located under the pointed area next to the front cowl. You can see them if you open the doors and put your head low to the ground and look upward. Most people don't know about this, but it's an extra measure to know if your car has original fenders. This just verifies that the car has no replaced panels and it most likely wasn't painted to an accident. I'm assuming it was just a particular owner who probably wanted a perfect paint job at all times and didn't like road rash.

-original Window Sticker

The factory speedometer failed at mile 7322 in May of 1999, exactly one year after it was purchased new from Motor Werks of Barrington,Inc - which is still in business to this day. I have the dealer invoice showing that it was replaced as well as the correct entry in the warranty voucher where it is dated 5/16/89 and stamped accordingly by the dealer - as designed. I can make photos available to any prospective bidder if desired.

Correction: Speedometer failure happened @ mile 7322 in 1989........one year after being purchased new......NOT 1999 as I stated previously. For some reason ebay will not let me correct my error so I am re-stating it.
