1969 Porsche 911 Euro (Germany) delivery. This is a solid project car that has been off the road since the early 90s. The prior owner brought it into his basement garage to do some carb work and the car sat until a few months ago. This is an excellent restoration candidate with some unusual options. From the factory, his 911 was finished in the special order color of Metallic Blue (6853), t was fitted with both Hella H1 headlights and a rear window wiper.
We had this car up on eBay previously, pulled the auction to verify some information with the motor number. This car was fitted with a factory replacement motor #2080373. This serial number decodes to a aluminum case 68 Euro T motor, ndis the only instance that I am aware of where the factory fitted an earlier motor under warranty. In any event, he aluminum case motor is superior to the later mag case and should be considered a bonus. We have posted a photo of the factory paperwork documenting the replacement.
This 911 has been off the road for many years and looks to be structurally solid. I can see evidence of some prior rust repair, he work looks solid but should be cleaned up a bit when a full restoration is done. The interior is excellent and should be left alone.
