1979 MG MGB MK IV Convertible 2-Door

This MGB was restored in the late 90's and placed in storage where it sat til recently. The last PA inspection was 99 as seen in the photo. The car was originally Tahiti Blue and when painted/restored was done very well. I sorted out all the problems and have it running well. The body is very solid having great floors with no rust, there are some imperfections in the paint but it looks great. Has silver MGB LE silver stripes with matching wheels that were just redone and painted. New Chrome trim rings, excellent luggage rack, tires have good tread, tops of front fenders were apparently repaired during restoration and are starting to show, hardly any other show of older restoration. Trunk is clean and rust free. Has original jack and bag, spare. Both bumpers have been cleaned and repainted. Interior is excellent with excellent carpet and door panels. dash has no cracks or other blemishes. Seats are very good. Top is excellent with zip out and refinished, all windows clear. Sorted all electrics and everything works, lights, new gas sending unit, gas tank was replaced at some time, all gauges work properly. Engine starts easily, has manual choke, runs and drives excellent with no rattles/shimmy, holds good oil pressure, runs cool and fans work when desired temp is reached. New clutch slave cylinder and hose, complete new exhaust including elimination of catalytic converter, new down pipe, middle pipe, correct mufflers and hangers as well as new exhaust manifold gasket. Carb reset, cleaned and new gaskets installed. All brakes, master excellent. This car will last as is for many years to come and is ready to go. I have a clear PA title ready to transfer. I will assist in shipping as long as buyer makes all arrangements well in advance. I describe all my items the best I can so there are no surprises, see my feedback.
