Up for sale is this 1989 Mercedes 190 2.6 sedan. Its been a 3 owner car since new and very well cared for. It has a 152,356 miles and was just serviced and is ready to be driven anywhere. This is an amazing first car for someone or the true enthusiast. The color combination is beautiful and the car show's very well . Truly a well cared for garage kept car
The color is called Petrol blue green . The paint is all original except the left front fender was resprayed due to the previous owner scraping is against a tree. The paint is shiny and looks very good . there are no major scratches or dents on the car. the undercarriage is clean as well. Overall the car show's very well and looks like a much lower mileage car .
The interior is exceptional the seats are beautiful and show no wear. The carpet is excellent . The door panels are pristine they are known to bow out and shrink . These are perfect . The dash is excellent as is the headliner . The wood is beautiful and crack free. Overall the interior is exceptional and looks amazing for being a 1989.
Inside the car you will find everything to be working properly.The climate switches from heat to Ice cold AC. The Original am/fm radio with cassette works perfectly as does the power antenna. Dual power seats with power headrest', The cruise control works perfectly as well. Finally the power sunroof slides back with ease and all the window's go up and down as well.
Mechanically she is a gem. It has the Iconic 2.6 liter 6 cylinder engine that is known to go well over 300 k miles . The car was just serviced with a complete tune u, new plug, wires cap and rotor. Valve cover gasket was replace, New flex disc on drive shaft. The brakes were inspected and are in excellent condition. The tires are new . Fresh coolant flus, New brake flui, fresh oil change and filte, Complete new exhaus, New hood pad . The suspension is very tight and the car makes no noises when driving it. when you start the car is idles very smooth and is quiet. The car drives amazing and has a ton of power and the transmission shifts smooth. I would drive it across country tomorrow . The previous owner was a fanatic and wanted to make the car a reliable daily driver. So for someone looking for a reliable car for $ 3500 then here it is. You will not be disappointed and will get many years of driving from the amazing 190 2.6 sedan.
