Description:

1993 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series 2.6 upper level

This may be the nicest Baby-Benz you will ever see. I don't exaggerate. If you become interested in this little Benz, I want you to know everything in detail. Undoubtedly, I will forget something, I'm now a "senior".
I'm a former Benz Service Mgr. This car has been my baby, and I have given it exceptional care. It needs nothing, other than to connect the new Alpine CD/radio.
The mileage is high, but you will never know it. Everything is sound and up-to-date. The engine and transmission are excellent, showing little wear. This 190E could easily go another 200,000 miles.
Here are some of the items that I have done within the last 15K miles: New brakes, exhaust, complete tuning, replacement of all filters, new fuel pumps and filters, ball-joints, bushings, tie-rod ends, shock absorbers, strut-mounts, alignment, distributor cap and rotor, transmission filter and fluid, vacuum modulator, drive-shaft center bearing and discs, fuel-injection calibration, water pump, thermostat, all hoses, serpentine belt, belt idlers and tensioner, hydraulic valve lifters, wheel-bearings, A/C compressor and drier, alternator, O2 sensor, sway-bar bushings, new windshield, steering damper, etc.
The engine is strong and totally sound, andhad a new factory-rebuilt head assembly at around 180K miles. Oil changes have been done every 3500 miles. The transmission has had it's fluid and filter changed every 15K, and it shifts precisely.
Now for a couple of negatives----- there are a couple of hard-to-see tiny dings. The fuel and temp guages occasionally "bounce", but work fine with no ill-effect.This Benz is still a fine car. Whether it be a first, second, or student car, it will provide reliable and fun transportation. Safety as designed by Mercedes is excellent. Many have commented on its' appearance. It has always been garaged, and there is no rust. Owner's manual packet and tools are included.
This little 190E is totally "ready-to-go", and will be a great car for a long time to come. It is FUN to drive, and handles crisply.
You are welcome to come, inspect and test-drive.
The Buy-It-Now price is more than reasonable. Look up the value on NAPA, Edmunds, Kelley Blue-Book, and you might realize just HOW reasonable it is, because I would like to sell quickly. The Benz is also listed on Craig's List and locally.
I will be happy to answer all questions and assist the buyer/new owner in any way that I can. If you want to fly, train or bus here for a pick-up, and have a fun drive back home, I will pick you up. If you want to have the car shipped to you, you will arrange shipping and I will be happy to assist the shipper.
The successful buyer will make a deposit by Paypal within 48 hours.
Feel free to call with any questions. I am Jeff at 413-213-0437. If you call and get the answering thing, I'll call back.
Thanks for looking !
