Purchased 9/2017 from NFS AutoSports (Sanford, NC) with 202991 miles. Vehicle used locally only and current mileage is 204613.
On purchase, the following records were provided to me:
A) $2559 receipt for Harrington Auto (Broadway, NC) from 7/29/03. Amongst the various parts list “long block - $1450†and labor included “remove engine, dissemble and clean, build long block, install engine and tune, replace one injectorâ€.
B) various receipts in 2017 for carvspeaker, stereo (Kenwood KDC-118), dash kit, and fuel pump sender.
C) $843 recipe for B&B Performance (Lillington, NC) from 4/2/14 for battery and PCM harness.
Immediately after I purchased the vehicle, I took it to Jeep Dealorship (Leith in Aberdeen, NC) for oil leaks at valve corner and power steering side house. All leaks repairs and “no further leaks at this timeâ€. And still, no leaks. Multi-point inspection was completed and without any identified issues. No alignment issues identified. Cost $593.
On 11/21/2018, oil change completed, air filter, wiper blades, transmission service with filter, front pads/rotors bearings and seals, rear shoe drums, HW kit, both wheel cup, safety inspection, Hercules tires (all 4), wheel alignment. Work competed at PJ’s Auto Car (Southern Pines, NC) for total cost of $1810.
On 6/26/20, oil change and multi-point check completed.
New battery installed 11/2020.
Paint Restoration completed 1/2021.
The only issues with the vehicle is that the wipers need to be shut off while they are in lowered position, otherwise they just stop wherever they are when you turn them off. Also, the emergency brake doesn’t engage (not an issue in NC which does not require safety check for vehicle of this age any longer. This does not affect driving or braking the car in any way, just more of an issue if your state requires a safety check then it would need to be repaired. I was quoted $300 to repair, but opted against it as it was not necessary to do to pass inspection. Also some dings and scratches throughout.
Car runs great. Always starts. Very reliable. Brand New Battery. New tires and brakes. Selling prior to long distance move. Please forward any questions.
