Description:

1990 Jaguar XJS V12 'CLASSIC COLLECTION' EDITION WITH 36K MILES!

Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this classic and rare 'Classic Collection Edition' original southern California 1990 Jaguar XJS 5.3L V12 convertible roadster with only 36K original miles! Gorgeous combination of original factory 'Light Oyster Metallic' (Code SDE) color paint with rare special order factory chrome disc wheels and beautiful 'Doeskin' (Trim Code AEE) leather interior and a matching original 'Dark Brown' power soft top and tonneau cover! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner!

This is the rare North American 'Classic Collection Edition' model, a limited edition series with unique paint colors, leather bucket seats with contrasting piping, a charcoal toned leather steering wheel and the legendarily smooth 5.3L V12 engine. Factory options include: electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition system, power 4 anti-lock wheel disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, leather-bound tilt steering wheel with airbag, power tinted windows, heated glass rear window, power door locks, automatic temperature control, air conditioning, cruise control, leather seats and trim, heated sport seats, power lumbar support, burled walnut facia and trim, deep pile carpet, Halogen foglamps/headlights, heated power mirrors and heated windshield washer.
Obviously always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accidents, owned by only obviously very careful and mature southern California owners/drivers since new - never abused, babied all the way! The original factory and simply stunning 'Light Oyster Metallic' color paint is in truly excellent condition as is the original 'Doeskin' color leather seats interior which is also in as outstanding condition as the exterior throughout with virtually no signs of any wear.

one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5,344 c.c. V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should!
This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desirable and collectible rare V12 Jaguar roadster, a truly luxurious smooth V12 ride and one of the last beautiful hand built cars from Jaguar's legendary Browns Lane, Coventry, England plant and a car that cost over $57K new in 1990 (over $104K in todays money!) - this is probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - with these particular models becoming harder to find in such all original condition with such ultra low miles and with this car having only obviously very careful and fastidious owners since new - this is one sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply any classic car lover!
