1954 GMC Suburban

1954 gmc my dad purchased in 1968. This truck was driven often till 1980 when it went into my uncles garage to be painted. They had pulled all the chrome and sent it to be rechromed. Long story short it never got painted. It sat in his shop till 1988 when my dad brought it back home and it sat in his garage till 2013 when he sent it to a shop to be restored. Endless amount of money went into this. I don't even know where to start. Lots of receipts. From fuel tank to heater core, heater motor every piece of rubber. More then I want to sit and list. This took them a year to complete and in 2014 and 2015 my dad took it to a car show each year and got a trophy each time. My dad had medical issues and in 2016 it never left the yard only pulled out of the garage a couple times to be washed, dried and parked back in the garage. He decided he was going to sale it but never got around to posting it. In June of 2017 my dad passed away and my mom decided to follow thru with his wish to sale. She will never drive and don't want it just to sit. With my dad gone I can't truly tell you everything about this truck has done. I have pulled it out twice since June to wash it and once drove to put gas in it. This thing drives like a new car. Cruises 65mph like a new car silent enough to have a conversation. I have no idea what he paid the company to restore it. But have a folder with thousands in receipts of new parts. This is restored to stock condition. With a retro fit stereo. He had the original am radio rebuilt but only got two stations so he did by a retro stereo. I'm not sure what the stock 6 cyl is but the auto says hydromatic. It's a 4 speed auto. Not sure why this sounds loud over video but not that loud in person. If you have any questions contact Tony 253)377-1540 thanks happy bidding

There is one picture in there of the gold color my dad had it painted in the 70's. I wish my dad was still around to get more details. But my mom said the black and green was the original color when they had got it. That picture was 1976
