[isdntekvideo] Click above arrow/picture for a video of this 1930 Ford Model A running and driving and the second video for pics of a book of history on it! really cool !(will not play on the ebay app, watch on regular internet browser!)
I bought this car in a package of collector cars that were part of a estate sale. The previous owner has many receipts (see pic) including four new coker tires, replacing all of the windows with new safety glass, and lots of replacements parts he ordered when he was restoring it. Also a really cool book documenting everything he did to it since he had it and some of the history of the car before he got it. Before he was able to complete it, he became ill and everything was sold at his estate sale. It comes with a clean numbers matching title ready for you to register. He elected to keep the original patina and preserved it with a clear coat. He powder coated the wheels before painting them orange.
The car starts right up and as the video shows, it goes down the road. The interior was stripped out and he never got a chance to put a new interior in it. The wood is solid. He put a new vinyl top on. The headlights and brake lights work, he moved them to a auxiliaryswitch. Mechanically the only thing I noticed when driving it was I would get a wobble once in a while which I corrected by stopping and starting again. My opinion it is from one of three things. The radius bal, inner wheel bearing, or caster adjustment. I had it up to 45 mph but you will want to address the wobble that comes about before taking it for a long road trip. The engine runs great with no knocks misses or smoke. the car shifts all gears the way it should.
Included are lots of pics while he was working on the car and all of the receipts. Also includes all of the books he got his parts from etc. The plates, plate toppers and dash magnets do not go with the sale as they are part of my personal collection. I parked this in front of my dealership I own and had people stop by and take pictures of it. just a neat Model A. This is a great car that you can take to any level you want. Watch the video as it does a great job showing the car for what it is.I require a 250 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. if i do not get the deposit before you come for the car or within the time frame, i will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I invite you to come check it out in my classic showroom at my dealershipteddys auto sales waukon iowaor hire ebay to do a private inspection.I can help recommend shippers i have used before who have been very reasonable.I reserve the right to end the listing at any time if someone buys it locally/early etc .Thanks for looking!
