1969 Ford Torino GT

HISTORY:This Torino was purchased by the current owner from his local Ford dealer, Collingwood Motor Sales, Findlay, Ohio, on October 24, 1968 for $3,041.After 38 years of light service, he fully restored it in 2007, including a rebuilt engine & transmission, a complete disassembly with every nut, bolt, and component replaced or refurbished. It was stripped and repainted with only minor body work needed.

MODIFICATIONS:Pretty much stock including the GT hood scoop with turn signal indicator lights.The original 351 Windsor V8 was rebuilt during the restoration and upgraded with an Edelbrock 4-BBL carburetor, a Ford 4-BBL intake manifold, a Competition cam, 10:1 compression pistons, and dual exhausts, reportedly putting out over 300 HP. And, a Ford sourced power steering unit was installed. In addition a set of aftermarket gauges (ammeter, oil pressure, & water temperature) were installed. A gel cell battery is hidden in an original style Autolite case.

OPTIONS:This car was well optioned with: Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic, Black Vinyl Roof, Traction Lock Differential, AM Radio, 351 2-BBL (currently 4-BBL), Adjustable Front Head Restraints, & Electric Clock.
