This truck was custom ordered by Sacramento dealer "Daring" Dick Wareing Co., on Sept 21, 1967.It was sold to the original owner on May 6, 1968. He owned it for 49 years until Ipurchasedit earlier this year from his estate.
This truck is one of only 647 Custom Cabs orderedwith "special paint". Be sure to view the copy of the Marti Report in my photos.
The truck was originally built with a 360 but was replaced with a big block 390 in the 1980's. It has an aluminum Edelbrock intake with a 4 barrel Holley carburetor. It runs amazingly smooth with plenty of power..sounds great too!
It has had one exterior repaint, but Ibelieve the original paint isstill underneath in areas. At that time a dent was repaired on the driver side door below the trim, approx 6" x 18". Trim is complete and in good shape with various dents and dings. The interior is completely original with the exception of the radio. Original owner added anauxiliary gas tank in rear where spare tire would mount. Everythingworks as it should.
There is ZERO rust anywhere.
