1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe

Ever since we discovered that the combination of a lightweight car combined with ample power made for exhilarating fun, minimizing weight has been a priority for performance minded enthusiasts. Throw in a great looking exterior and a nice list of features and you up the ante considerably by attracting onlookers and adding comfort and convenience. With a lightweight fiberglass body and capable V8 power, that's just what this 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe offers.
The fiberglass body on this '32 Coupe not only provides coveted light weight, but it looks GREAT. Decked out in a top-notch paint job that's truly fitting for a hot rod already with such menacing looks, it's sure to inspire double takes in the rearview mirror - the asphalt equivalent to what must have happened long ago when pirates caught a glimpse of Blackbeard in their sights. With its shortened windows, suicide doors, prominent front end and engine compartment that's open on the sides to expose its V8 powerplant, it's certainly a rugged looking ride, but very attractive and well-crafted, as well, and you can see evidence of the latter in the seamless way the body panels fit together: nice even gaps with nothing protruding, and doors and hood that open and shut smoothly. Only a literal handful of miles have been logged since this Coupe was built, so not only is that black paint looking its absolute best, but the chrome accents on the headlights and front and rear bumpers are pristine, as well. There's some serious curb appeal here!
Hot rods like this often have little to offer in the way of features, their builders preferring to stick to just the adds-ons that contribute to straight ahead speed, but the quest for power and visual impact don't come at the expense of comfort and convenience with this '32. Inside, you'll see a truly plush leather interior inviting you to take your place behind the wheel. The red leather bench seat is in just the pristine condition you'd expect from a car with so few miles logged and the red carpet underneath it has a definite newness to it, as well. Take a look through the solid wood steering wheel sitting atop the chrome tilt column and you'll see a full assortment of Stewart Warner gauges in front of you, their white faces contrasting perfectly with the black dash behind them. Glance a little lower and you'll notice the control panel for a Vintage Air climate control system that promises to provide miles and miles of comfort.
Where the rubber hits the road, you may well want some smoke, as well, and this coupe delivers on that account, as there's a fresh Ford 302 V8 on display in that open-air compartment, its headers extended outward for all to see. Equipped with an Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, it's mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission and fires up with a push button start, another unexpected feature. Up front, there's a generously-sized aluminum radiator equipped with an electric fan to keep temperatures in optimum range, regardless of conditions. With rack and pinion steering, as well as a coilover suspension in front and back, the motoring fun won't be limited to straight line exploits. And when it comes time to stop, having power disc brakes on all four corners is a big plus.
