You are looking at the first year the Torino was produced. (THIS IS NOT A GRAN TORINO) Based on the fairlaine the S-code Torino was made for 1968 and 1969.
The current motor is a 460 from a 1970 lincoln continental.. has d0ve heads and stock built. Rated at 475HP 500TQ
New dual plane aluminum intake manifold by weiand
New edelbrock 750 carburetor with 2.5" filter
C6 three speed automatic transmission with newer console interior.
9" ford rear end with 3.20 gears and posi-lock
New 15x8 Crager steelies with Falken ziex 950 tires
Originally equipped with front disc brakes!
Body has been redone and is as straight as an arrow.. primer sealed satin ready for you to paint.
Trims included but not on the car for paint. Most areas rubberized
Hood is steel but is from another torino. Has a little crease from old hinges.
Fiberglass scoop not mounted permanantly on hood
You will not find many of these cars originally with bucket seats however they are not original.
Entire car has been rewired almost everything works electrically now
Gas tank, lines, and mechanical pump replaced
Entire front end suspension and steering replaced
Converted to manual steering with new steering box

Could use some new carpet. Cant get fuel sender to read. Motor is old really needs a good rebuild but runs strong.. has a little knock on drivers side valve just really annoying to get cover off :)
