1965 Ford Mustang Convertible Code A

Price: - Item location: Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States
Description:

1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, Desirable Code A. Caspian blue with white top and parchment interior. Mileage 53927. The 289 engine was replaced with another rebuilt 289 in 1989. The rebuilt engine has approximately 4K miles on it. Has the Autolite 4100 4bbl carberator. Car has been stored for the last 15 years in a closed garage. Prior to that the car was always kept under a car port. Has been in our family since 1982. I believe this Mustang has been in North Carolina since it was sent to the Charlotte area in 1965. The car has a great body and undercarriage -rust in photos is merely light surface rust and is not into the metal. There are 3 small dings on the right fender. This would be a top tier project car mainly due to the rare quality of the body/undercarriage. Panels align properly. Convertible top looks good considering it was changed over 30 years ago. Will need fresh paint(see photos). Drum brakes. Note: short tail pipe has a few holes as you can hear in the videos.
Is located in Fayetteville NC.
Is sold as is with no warranty/guarantee
