1966 Ford F-100Engine 352 V8Automatic TransmissionNeeds RestorationNOT Rusted. No holes on cab corners. no Rust on Drip rails, no rust around windows, No rust on hood, no rust-holes on floor. Just surface rust that will go with a fine grit sand paper or brush.Has a LOT of cow kisses and fence bumps and red dust/dirt, This truck belonged to a USDA field Inspector in the Country Rural area. Texas/Oklahoma, he retaired and parked the truck under a cover.
I started to work:
New carb, new fuel lines, fuel tanked flushed and ready to install.New Steering coupler bushingI fired up and purrs like a kitten.
Needs to make it road worthy.New ignition switchBatteryRear lights (have a set)and work on brakes (everything is there, but is old,)Set of new tires.
Now... Cosmetics:If you want a trailer queen, needs body work, has a LOT of dents, pins, scratches, regular stuff of a working Country Truck.Wood on bed not rotten, but shows age and use.Glass is there with not cracksDash is perfect, the dash pad is soft with NO cracks or rips.Everhting is there, just needs attention and cleaning. (radio, window cranks, handles, headliner cardboard, hub cabs...)I have the seat and seat belts just took it off to inspect and clean fuel tank.
Its a long bed, stepside, Acadian (baby blue) color
Nice - easy project., with a toddler and a baby on the way I have NO time/money to work on it, so it has to go. Realistic price here.
