1947 Ford Other Pickups Roadster pick up

This is the first time I have offered this truly unique vehicle. It is a 1947 ford pickup that has been chopped, channeled, sectioned, with a shortened bed and molded in tailgate and double rolled pan, and add to that a lift off Carson style top, and the 1938 Ford passenger car frontend, all of which make this unique one off multi award winning hot rod.This is a hot rod of many firsts. F.I. 5.0 mustang GT engine, AOD trans, Pinto s/w front end, and 38 front end on a 47 truck, also vivid green paint withnavy blue accents.The wheels are original Boyds, with Granada front disc brake, 8 in. rear sitting on TCI springswith 3.55 posi, and Pintorack and pinion steering through a GM tilt wheel. Gauges are Auto Meter recessed in a smoothed dash. The navy blue pinstriping was all done by hand. The bed has navy blue Corian.Power and reliability come from a 1988 5.0 Mustang that has been changed from speed density to mass air flow thru a Ford Motorsport ECM and Painless wiring. The engine was refreshed a couple years ago and added aluminum heads and Edlebrock top end.Over the years we have won many trophies and awards, and were magazines in the US and overseas. Also Ford Motorsport Catalogue for 2 years.The paint is Sikkens and still looks great after all these years.It is hard to let go, but it is time for someone else to get the pleasure from this special truck.The dash has been signed by 3 of the finest kustomizers of our life.
