5.0 V8, Convertible, 5 Speed, Fully Loaded
1983 Ford Mustang GLX
There are only 50,006 ORIGINAL MILES on this car. I am listing this for a friend who is the registered owner. She purchased it years back from a nice lady who was the original owner. Garage kept, traight, lean, nd in overall very good original condition. I am told it is the original top but don't know how to verify that. It is obvious to me that the interior is all original and it is in exceptionally nice overall condition with no rips or tears. The car starts up and runs just as it should. During warm up with a small blip of the throttle the choke goes off and the RPM's settle down to a nice idle. The original owner put the Pony wheels on it, the car does not come with the original wheels). This car has mostly just sat in my friends garage for the last year. She has severe back issues and just cant get in and out of it anymore so she says it's time to let someone else enjoy the car like sheused to be able to.
I took the car out for a test drive and ran it through the gears, wouldn't mind doing that on a regular basis)!! Car runs and drives great, he A/C blows cold, he heater blows hot and the windows all work fine. Has power windows, ower door locks, ower steering and brakes, ruise control, ower trunk release, amp; power top. The only flaws I noticed to mention are that the power top needs some help going up and down. I'm no expert but I think it could use some hydraulic fluid. Also, he brakes work, ut they feel a little soft. I think they need to be bled, r possibly it just needs some fluid, I didn't check). The body is straight and the paint has a lot of shine. There are a few bumps and bruises that she has picked up over the years, one picture shows some dents from trying to close the deck lid/trunk when it was too full, nd another shot shows a blemish in the paint on the frontrightfender.
I am happy to answer any questions. We have no intention of misrepresenting the car in any way. It is not perfect, ut for being 33 years old, t is in exceptionally nice overall condition. By the way, he boot that covers the convertible top when it is down is missing. Car comes with a CD player in dash, with removable face) the original radio is in the trunk with the original spare tire and jack/tools. Registration is coming up for renewal in a few months so she is going to get it smogged,(it has always passed with no problems).
