This car was in dry storage since 1962.It has only seen the light of day for a year. It has a new 255 cu.in. Mercury Flathead V8, rofessionally built @ $7000 cost, ave all receipts* New Convertible Top and Well Liner and Boot* New Tires* Complete new brake system including hoses* New Exhaust system* New 8 volt battery* 3 speed manual transmission* All glass is good* Windows roll up and down smoothly* All lights and gauges work* Factory radio and heater* The front seat has been reupholstered to match the rest of the original red and black interior.
This car is really solid. There is no rust anywhere on the floor or trunk. There are a few small rust through spots on lower fenders. The biggest being the drivers side rear 1/4 panel, hich needs the bottom 5 inches replaced. That area is single panel thickness and will be a minor repair. All the exterior stainless trim is intact and not beat up. There are no missing parts. Every nut, olt, nd screw is there. Original jack and tire tool in the trunk. Possibly the spare could be original also, t hasn't been checked into.
All the mechanical work is done, nd done right. The car has been driven less than a mile since the work was finished. All that's left is some body work and paint. Some small pieces could stand to be rechromed. You could be done with this one in a month instead of a year.
Extra parts included....239 cu. in. Ford flathead block, rankshaft, tarter, enerator and misc. small engine parts. Not shown in the pictures is a chrome front bumper guard. New owner can decide if it's ugly or not.
