Who says you can’t have big fun with a small car? MotoeXotica Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1970 Fiat 500 110F Model L Berlina Scioneri. This example was completely restored in 2015 in Taranto, Italy and will draw smiles and admirers wherever you drive it.

Finished in aquamarine that matches color and type of the original color, the car’s paint and trim are in overall excellent order. There is a small blemish on the driver’s side of the hood. The windows are clear and intact. The car’s lights are in very good shape and it rides on whitewall tires, size 125/SR12 at all four corners. Inside those tires are steel wheels with factory wheel covers. Both the tires and wheels are in overall good condition.

All of the car’s body panels are straight and solid. The black, foldable sunroof is in overall very good order with just a minor blemish visible upon close inspection. The cargo area in front is in good order and has a spare tire. The bumpers are in fantastic shape, however the front bumper is loose on the driver’s side. There’s even a wicker picnic basket strapped to the rear, ready for some al fresco dining.

In the rear is a .5L, vertical, two-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a non-synchronized four-speed manual transmission.

Inside, the car’s red leather interior with white accents was also restored in 2015. The front buckets and rear bench are in overall very good order, as is the contrasting black carpet. The black instrument panel is intact, in overall very good order and has a woodgrain accent panel for a bit of added warmth. The two-spoke steering wheel is in a similar state to the dash and has a complementing wood rim. The red inner door panels look very mod while the mirror glass, a storage tray straddling the driveshaft tunnel and shift lever are all in good order. This is a radio-delete vehicle.

The Fiat 500 was a rear-engined two-door, four seat, small city car manufactured and from 1957 to 1975 over a single generation in two-door saloon and two-door station wagon bodystyles.

Launched as the Nuova (new) 500 in July 1957, as a successor to the “Topolino,” it was a cheap and practical little town car. Measuring nine feet, nine inches long, and originally powered by a 479 cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 was still 9.6 inches smaller than Fiat’s 600, launched two years earlier and is considered one of the first purpose-designed city cars.

Competition to this Fiat in 1970 included Britain’s Mini Cooper, Citroën’s M35, Morris’ 100 and Volkswagen’s Beetle.

This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 9,160 kilometers, or 5,658 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
