Even back in 1970 this factory “Go Mango” Challenger was a rare car with only 970 JS23 vehicles produced. Most Go Mango cars came from the factory with the black vinyl top and interior combination. Dash pad, oor panels, eadliner and seat covers were replaced with Year One/Legendary components. Dash gauges were restored and re-colored and look like new. All glass including the windshield is good. The factory installed AC works the way it should. The special Challenger upper interior door wood grain insert panels are include but not installed. Factory simulated undercoating was applied during the restoration process. Exhaust system is perfect. The trunk floor is perfect. The original factory supplied jack assembly and “space saver” spare tire and rim are included. Both jack, im are in excellent original condition. The tire appears to be original 1970 vintage.NUMBER MATCHINGThe engine, ransmission and body numbers all match the car’s VIN.VALUEHemmings Motors News June 2015 issue (“Buyers Guide” article) estimated the value range of a correctly restored detailed 1970 Challenger RT 440 Magnum car at $62,400.This is truly an investment grade car.
