1970 Dodge Challenger RT – Factory Original Number Matching 440 Magnum “U” Code

Here is a rotisserie restored 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. This iconic Mopar retains it’s original, umbers-matching 440 Magnum engine and automatic transmission. It also retains it’s original data tag, ash ID VIN and driver’s door VIN tags. Extreme attention to detail was taken to completely restore this awesome Challenger to original factory assembly line specifications. Overall restoration costs exceeded $80,000.

The 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Magnum “U Code” option was an upgrade from the standard 383 motor commonly found in many 1970 RT’s. The big block 440 AVS four-barrel engine was relatively easy for the average home garage mechanic to dial in for street and even an occasion run at the local drag strip. Even back in 1970 this factory “Go Mango” Challenger was a rare car with only 970 JS23 vehicles produced. Most Go Mango cars came from the factory with the black vinyl top and interior combination. This Challenger is the epitome of what was “Hip” in 1970. It has been driven less than 150 miles since a complete restoration.

This is a rare car in pristine condition and would make an exceptional investment that you can also drive and enjoy. Don’t miss out on a unique opportunity to own this vintage, ig block Challenger RT!!
