Description:

1968 Dodge Coronet RT

This is a true 1968 Dodge Coronet RT with a Numbers matching 440. Rare Marina Blue color.
The car was originally from Arkansas, my father has had the car for almost 30 years. The car is clean inside and out.
Exterior: Solid Body is in great shape, no rust overall. It was repainted many years ago before my father had it, but it is the original color, inside of the trunk was never painted you can see what the original painted looked like. See the picture, also has the original schematic for the trunk posted. The paint does have some minor niches and minor tiny pits in some area, mostly on the roof, but overall looks good and shines nice. There is a very tiny area where the back chrome window trim meets the trunk that has some minor surface rust starting to form(see pic). Chrome bumpers are in great shape, Exterior Lights are in great shape all intact. Wheels and tires are in very good shape.
Interior: Super clean! Carpeting clean, seats brand new set to factory, headliner brand new. Dash is in ok shape, some small cracks on the edge only, but not very noticeable. The OEM AM radio works, but is disconnected because, the AM FM CD player is connected and working fine, new speakers working fine. The gauges all wor, except for RPM gauge. The interior lights do not work, never had a chance to get them looked at. The Windows work fin, roll up and down.
Engine: The engine was rebuilt 4 years ago. A professional shop About Automotive in Elkgrove, il, I have all the paper work for the car. The engine is original 440 Block. The engines runs smooth. New Be cool radiator, double electric fa, and 200 amp alternato, elderbrock carb, intak, valve covers to help with cooling and performance. $8000.00 invested in engine alone. I also have all the Orignal parts(radiator, fan, intake manifold, valve cover, and much more). The AC has been taken out, orginally came with AC.
The undercarriage is solid, no rust holes, solid body, some minor surface rust on exhaust, but nice untouched. The exhaust has Orignal stainless tips with glass packs. There is a minor leak coming from the trans seal. This happens when cars sit to long in the garage. The car had always be garage kept.
Overall a beautiful ca, A true classic, hard to find. Unfortunately I do not have time for it, a wife and 2 little babies to worry about now. I wanted to be detailed as possible, so you know exactly what your getting. Let me know if you have any questions. 630-550-9858 I also have more pics available.
