1948 Chevrolet Other Pickups 1/2 ton

1948 Chevrolet 1/2 ton short box. Truck is primed flat black and ready to be painted. Box floor has new wood with chrome strips
and new front panel and tale gate. Seat is original restored with cloth and vinyl. New after market gauges include temp, volt, as, " tack and 5"speedometer. Wiring is completely redone. Both front and rear original lights are wired for running and turn lights. Engine is 1955 235 6 cylinder with 2- 2 barrel carbs. Valve cover, ide cover and 12 volt alternator are chrome. Exhaust has split manifold with 2 glass pack mufflers to side lake pipes. Distributor was converted to modern solid state system.
Drive line includes new clutch, riginal floor 4 speed transmission and torque tub with new
3.55 :1 gears that make good driving at road speed. Front end is tight with new kingpins and reworked tie rod ends.
Wheels are custom from late model 4x4 with new tires. Truck runs and drives great. Running boards and gas tank need some repair. Gas tank leaks at top, ee pictures of running boards.
