1963 409 Q block 425hp factory manual SS coupe. New H.Duty Muncie M20 gearbox including gear sets, ase, orque lock sliders etc - everything is brand new. Factory Positrac limited slip rear end Rear air bags in springs. New hand made brass clutch. Hidden MSD 6 ignition system wired into harness with new ignition components Slotted and drilled front discs plus new master cylinder. Factory tacho. New bezel seals in all rear lights. Middle lense changed to orange for Australian standards Brand new passenger window regulator fitted. New in the box Drivers window reg - supplied with car. New thermo fan. The car had a full restoration, ody off chassis completed in 2001. The motor is now 421 cubes with SPS rod bolts, indage tray, ig balancer, sky 296 hyd.cam anti pump lifters, 060 forgedtrue brand pistons. The heads are unported 690's and feature stainless valves, ronze guides, eflon seals, ompcams double wound springs with chromemoly retainers and keepers. The engine idles at 850rpm and will easily rev to 6500rpm and beyond The factory original 3361 and 3461 4 barrell carbs will be left with the car as will the long comp drag factory original cast headers 925 and 926 (very rare). All the hard to find 409 parts are there - deep pulleys, arge alt deep pulley, dler pulley, hort fan shroud (original fan and hub left with car also. now runs auto thermo fan), port fuel filter with return line, ell housing with bottom cover, 09 clutch fork, tc all there to the last detail. This is the LAST Impala to ever go down the legendary 75-80 drag way the day it closed in October 2005. The car has been displayed at the New York "Legends of Drag Racing" show with the air cleaner lid being signed by many Drag racing legends including Dyno Don, onnie Sox Bob Reed, rumpy Jenkins - just to name a few! This is a one of a kind car deep with racing history in America. The owner in the States did not want the car leaving America due to drag and racing history. I am the 3rd owner of the car.
