As you can see in the photo, the muffler has a hole in it. That’s what is causing the tapping noise. The engine runs incredibly smooth and make no tapping or knocking sounds. Motor was rebuilt about five years ago. This is my best friends vehicle and I am selling it for him. It’s been in his family for a long time.
