1963 Chevrolet Other Restomod

This 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne Restomod not only has a dual-quad V8, but also shimmering paint, a bold A/C interior, and serious suspension upgrades, including airbags. So if you're ready for details on the best of everything, read on.
This car makes an instant impression. After all, the adjustable air bags at each wheel allow you to dial in an ultra-low stance wherever you park this custom Chevy. But there's also a lot more going on there. These Biscaynes have a terrific style with sharply pointed fenders, crisp sheetmetal, and a trunk that has a subtle dip for added effect. You see this so well, because the upgraded silver paint loves to radiate in the sun. Also, take some time to see how well-coordinated this whole package is. The dark silver roof section does a nice job of matching the Salt Flat-style wheels. And that red streak along the profile gives you a nice preview of the interior.
The full red interior is fresh, aggressive, classic, and futuristic all in one. It starts with the seats that have that vintage look with textured cloth inserts and a button-top presentation. The door panels, dash, carpeting, and headliner all coordinate and have the look and feel of quality. They have neatly integrated upgrades, like the AM/FM/CD stereo, air ride control switches, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Bucket seats up front and a Hurst shifter in-between instantly signal this is a driver's machine. And while you'll slip behind a classic Bel Air steering wheel (power steering), beyond that is the full modern glow of the Dakota Digital gauges.
Chevy's 348 cubic-inch big block V8 is a legend from this era, so it's cool to have one cleanly installed under the hood. It even has great classic details, like the Offenhauser finned valve covers. But this classic was built for performance. That's why this inhales deeply with a dual set of Edelbrock 500 CFM four-barrel carburetors. The consignor even states this has been bored .60 over to 377ci total. And this loves to exhale with authority out of the 2.5-inch dual exhaust. There are also nice supporting components, like upgraded pulleys, an Optima red top battery, and an aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. As you look at the undercarriage photos, they reveal serious investments in the suspension. You have UMI tubular A arms in front, a four-link rear with boxed arms, and sway bars front & rear. The four-speed manual transmission gives you excellent control over this performance, and the four-wheel dis brakes upgrade lets you stop with confidence.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the restomod where they spent time on the details. So you'll love driving near of far to show it off. Don't miss this total package, call today!
