1979 Chevrolet Corvette

Very nice condition Vette. Numbers match from engine to vin. 350 V8 Manual trans. Just traded in on "something more practical" for the wife to drive. Last owner who traded the car had the car 12 years and took very good care of it. Garaged under a included car cover. In the last few years he installed a new clutch, steering box, front lower control arms, sway bar links, and starter to name a few. The car will have a brand new PA inspection performed before this auction is over. Overall condition is pretty great. Some defects include a light scratch or chip here or there, no exterior damage worth mentioning. Paint glossy and well laid down. It has been repainted, when I cannot say. I have seen no sanding marks under the paint anywhere. Driversdoor panel missing a clip and a little loose, has tear in drivers seat bottom cushion. Overall interior nice shape. Car does have ac but it is non functional, not surprisingfor the age. Heat works fine. Windows work, all gauges work, even the clock! These clocks never work. LOL. Tires in good condition fronts wearing inside. Probably why all the front end parts done, alignment was probably off. The Vette only had about 120 since last inspection. Car runs great. sounds like a 4 wheel Harley Davidson. Has headers that lead directly into the side pipes. Not much muffler there if any. So yes, the side pipes are real and look and sound great (aka LOUD). After market wheels look awesome, look period correct and are in great shape. Aftermarket Blauplunkt radio installed works fine, originalradio included with the car. Also included is a second set of T-Tops, a battery tender, and full cloth car cover. I have many more pictures of this car but was limited to 24 here. I can forward more pictures to serious buyers. I also have video of the engine running. If you are looking for a Vette to enjoy, drive, and tinker with this is the car. I do not have this cars life story, nor are we going for Bloomington Gold here. So please keep that in mind.
