This 1938 Sport Coupe still has the original grey paint under the Satin black paint. This car sat for the last 40yrs. Then The following work was done to it: Rebuilt 235 out of a 51' Chevy,Rebuilt Transmission, New clutch bearings,new brake cylinders,new lines and drums turned.12volt wiring upgraded to American Autowire with a alternator. Two speed electric wiper motor,Master deluxe heater and defrost. Complete exhaust,wheels powder coated,new Allstate 16" Tires,Chevrolet Pull chain hand wind clock (works great). New Upholstery. The Car runs great and sounds great. For the most part this Chevy is almost all rust free except in the trunk lip as shown in the photos. The finish that is on there must be wiped with a coating every 30-90 days otherwise it will get grey. The Car has never been painted except for the primer thats on it now. This car is ready to be driven as is or paint it to your choice. Im selling this car for a good friend who is a collector. This friend has always had the best items in his collection.
