The restoration was done between 2010 and 2011, and shows beautifully today. The car drives just as good as it looks, and with the 180HP turbo engine it has plenty of power and is well equipped for today's driving. We don't see many Corvairs on the road, especially the rare turbo model. Most are very rusty, wrecked, and in need of major repairs. This is a very well-restored Corvair that's ready to go and can be driven anywhere. The car comes with a binder full of receipts from the restoration.
