1986 Chevrolet C10

I am selling my 1986 C-10 short bed regular cab which is rust free which is getting hard to find in a square body. This is a nice clean straight southern truck ready for a restoration or drive as is. It is not perfect but it is 32 years old. It has a 305 with an automatic transmission. The transmission was replaced before I got it with a Jasper rebuild which shifts like it should. The 305 starts and runs fine but it seems original with headers and dual exhaust. It has nice carpet and bench seat dark blue interior but needs the door pull straps and trim caps replaced. It has power steering, power brakes and power windows and locks. I believe the A/C needs charged because it worked last year but blows warm this year. Has new tires and rally wheels with new brakes. Drives down the road really nice and straight and stops straight. Radio works but sounds bad, not sure if it is the speakers or the radio but it is original so I haven't messed with it. Mileage is unknown and is exempt due to age. Upon further investigation and driving a little more regular, I think the carburetor needs the choke adjusted. The engine runs just fine. I think a tune up or choke adjustment would help the idle because it idles rich but runs great and starts easy every time. A little rich when it's cold. I never intended to leave the 305 in it so that is why I never spent any money on it since it ran fine. This would be a really nice truck to put in a 350 or 383 stroker and have a really nice hot rod. I picked up a really nice 72 short bed after this one and I have decide to spend the money on the 72 C-10. A $500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction and a wire transfer for the balance within 5 days and before pick up. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
