Description:

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

up for auction is my 1969 Wide Body Corvette. This Corvette is a running driving car but it is a bit of a project needing pain, fiberglass work finished on rear panel and some wiring sorted out and lots of little things. The engine is a non numbers matching 350 (Old school build). New Eddlebrock 650 thunder series carb (needs a little adjusting running a little rich) on Torker single plane intake. Straight headers to side pipes so it is loud. This is an older build but has been in the garage not driven much. 4 speed shifts out nice. The car is far from perfect but has so much upside with big block hood, side pipes, lemans chrome gas cap, lemans front headlights with plexiglass covers (covers can be removed) new torque Thrust II wheels with brand new tires. 275 60 15 Nittos on the back. The best thing about the car is that it is a Wide Body. Fender flares front and rear. You are talking about thousands of dollars to convert to a wide body car. The title is clear and in my name but has been branded rebuilt from Fiberglass damage over 40 years ago(car was flared at that time). The frame is excellent with no damage. I will also give a Bill of sale. Some states don't even have Titles for cars of this age. This Vette does need to be stripped and painted . Paint is not good but it could be driven now without being embarrassed. Some people really like the distressed look.It just has that old school muscle look. If you are looking for a numbers matching perfect car go to another Corvette .If you want something nobody else has that is cool as Heck .With a little work this might be the Corvette for you.The rear tail lights are not currently hooked up and horn and wipers are not operational. So this car would need to be trailerd home. It needs some things sorted out but you could be driving it on the street in a few days. I also have another set of new wheels and tires if you like them better than the torque thrust II. I would trade them out. I prefer the torque thrust but everyone is different. I do not have the original rally wheels or the original headlights.I do have the factory fuel door that will go with the car. The driver side door panel is currently off . The driver side power window only goes up and down about 1/2 way without help. The motor moves/shakes and needs to be fixed. I removed the door panel to try and fix but I haven't had time and probably won't have time before the auction ends. This car is not for everybody. If you are not mechanically inclined you might need a friend that is. Not trying to scare anyone off but this a 49 year old car and has some issues to work through. The trim tag is F15 420 980. So it was a Originally a riverside gold exterior and a Saddle vinyl interior.
My cell phone is 479-857-5059 If you have any questions or want some more pictures. It might be easier to get a hold of me by text because of my work schedule. Thanks, Jon
I do have the Corvette for sale and have some interest so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally. If I get a bid I will complete the auction and potential local buyers will have to bid like everyone else.
