1937 Chevrolet Master

1937 Chevrolet, Master 4 door with rear suicide doors. The Master model has the preferred leaf springs in the front rather than the knee action style that the Master Deluxe had. Speedo shows 71,000 miles but unknown if that is original. Car was in good condition before restoration, notmuch rust at all.

Have clear title in hand.

Complete new paint by professional restoration shop using PPG products. Paint and body work are excellent. Paint color is a beautiful burgundy. All striping done as original.

All body panels disassembled and stripped of all paint and undercoating and primed with epoxy primer.

Lower piece below trunk which is always rusted out on these cars was replaced with a reproduction panel. Excellent fit, looks perfect.

Original good condition headlight lenses. Original fog lights - not hooked up, aftermarket fender running lights - not hooked up.

Hubcaps are not perfect, left side of car are '37 style, right side are 39 style.

All panels painted inside and out.

Car also has reproduction fender skirts.

Bumpers and bumper guards all rechromed.

Grille is original, not perfect but good driver quality.

New front and rear emblems, all new glass, new chrome outertrunk hinges, new glass rubber seals and window channels, new gas tank and sending unit, new brakes, wheel cylinders and rubber and steel brake lines, new muffler, new aftermarket running boards (excellent fit), new running board chrome strips, new battery.

Engine has 110 lbs. of compression.

Rebuilt radiator, hoses and thermostat.

Speedometer reconditioned including new glass.

Complete new interior, some wrinkles on seat cushions.

Missing: no carpet, grab handles, armrests, windshield visors, sill plates.

Tires have some weather checking. Wipers not hooked up, missing some parts. Heater not hooked up. Gas gauge not working. Horn button missing. Clock does not work.

Pitting on door handles, hood ornament and center chrome piece.

Underside of car is original, not cleaned or repainted - but no rust.

Engine runs decent, doesn't have many miles on since restoration, there may be a few more things that need to be done to be a perfect running and driving car.

Reserve price is considerably less than what has been invested in the restoration.
