Description:

1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

This car was originally a Florida car, dealer info was from Pensacola. The car went through an extensive rebuild process. This car was an entry level car when it was built by GM. During the rebuild process all of the running gear was discarded as none of it was not correct anyway, carbed, Turbo 350, 3.08 open rear, etc. Installed in it's place was a new radiator to rear axle assy. from a GM salvaged 1991 Convertible, that was scrapped by GM back in the day due to vandalism. Everything including the from the front wishbone, etc., was replaced with new parts from the donor car. While I was at it I installed power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, rear window defogger, tilt wheel removed the fuel tank and installed the correct factory fuel pump. All of the GM options I installed were using the original GM harnesses, switches, etc.from donor cars (when these cars were plentiful) Then weld in Spohn subframe connectors, poly bushing throughout, 1LE front brakes, rear brakes from a 2002 Z28. Then it was on to the paint shop, new graphics, windshield, headlights, etc. New interior, but I grew tired of the factory seats and installed a seat from a 2002 Camaro, which is much better. This car, until recently was my daily driver. This car is one of the very last IROC-Z s made 12/14/1989. Now it languishes in the driveway and needs to go to a new home. I also have the original factory invoice for this car as well as the black GM oil filter that came on the engine.
