1983 Chevrolet Blazer
I have owned this Blazer since 1989, I put a new 6.2 diesel in it in 1991 and put a Banks Sidewinder turbocharger on it 1996. When I bought it, it had been converted from a 700R4 automatic transmission to a heavy duty 4 speed manual transmission. The differentials have 2.73 gears in them. The 4X4 works perfectly as does the manual transmission. I replaced the entire clutch assembly 2000 miles ago. I just replaced the fuel injection pump, water pump, front timing cover and radiator hoses. It has new shocks front and rear as well as new universal joints. The tires are 4 years old but have only less then 2,000 miles on them. My daughter used this truck to drive to school and graduated in 2008, since then it has been stored in my barn and driven rarely(why I'm selling it). The A/C is intact but the compressor failed and I elected not to repair it. It has a new radiator also, as well as a new heater core. The inside is in very good shape. The dash pad has no cracks and looks great. The carpet for some reason has faded in places and not sure why. The driver seat has a tear in the seat cover but the cushion and seat frame are in great shape. The passenger seat and rear seat are in great shape. The headliner is drooping but in tact. It has an after market CD player that works as well as A DELHPI XM receiver. There are some paint chips, but no dents. The quarter panels behind the rear wheels have some lite rust. The door frame on the passenger door also has some light rust along the bottom. The truck since I have owned it has been in Texas. Questions call 903-259-9228This is a good solid truck, it's not perfect, it is 33 years old but with a little TLC this truck will make someone a proud owner of a classic one of a kind Blazer.
