Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1989 Camaro RS Convertible which is in beautiful restored condition and priced to sell. This RS convertible is truly rare being 1 of only 3,245 convertibles built in 1989 and how many of them were ordered with a factory 5 speed manual transmission and L03 305 engine. This Camaro features a newer fantastic paint job, a fully restored deluxe Gray cloth interior which is in excellent condition, and the original numbers matching drive line that appears to have never been removed from the car. This Camaro is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust anywhere on the car. This Camaro is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Black(code 8555) over Gray deluxe cloth(code 82C) interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified by the rpo codes decal pictured below.

Exterior

The Black exterior is in terrific restored condition. This Camaro RS was treated to a professional paint job a few years ago in the factory black color and shows extremely well. The car is very strait with no signs of rust and no dings or dents. The paint is in great condition and the body and frame are both very solid. Both bumpers are in excellent shape shape with no flaking or fading paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The Indy Firehawk tires have excellent tread left and are sized 235/60/15 and the wheels are OEM fully restored originals and in perfect shape with no curb rash and shine wonderfully. We have a receipt for $430 for the restoration on these wheels and a receipt for $406 for the tires. The convertible top is newer and has hardly been used and is in excellent shape. We have a receipt for that top for $461. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original size spare tire and jack, and appears to have never been out of the car. All glass is “LOF” original glass.

Interior

The Gray deluxe cloth interior of this Camaro is in spectacular restored condition. The seat covers have been recently replaced and are in perfect condition with no signs of wear. The carpet has been replaced and is like new with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in great condition with no fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The stereo has been upgraded to a modern Pioneer CD mp3 player and luckily the dash has not been cut on for installation, a professional kit was used in the process. The door panels are in excellent condition with no wear and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock but the tach seems to read a little high. The horn, stereo, wipers, power windows, and fan blower also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Camaro RS is in great mechanical condition and we drove this car over one hour to our shop in Cincinnati and it performed very well and was a true joy to drive. On the engine pad is a the stamping “V0221AKH” which is for a 1989 305 170HP TBI engine which is correct for this car. On that pad is a partial vin as well matching it to this car. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. The previous owner of this Camaro kept meticulous car of the car and regular maintenance was performed and several items were fixed and upgraded. This Camaro is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Included is a receipt for $276 for brake parts. Also, the engine is clean and very original and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car and we tested the AC and it works but appears to need a charge to blow cold.

The Vehicle is being sold by a Licensed State of Ohio Dealer (Cincy Classic Cars, LLC). You will need to check with your local government for any special rules regarding these older vehicles passing any inspections. We will not be held liable for any vehicle not passing inspection.The vehicle is offered with a right to a personal inspection by any bidder or agent. If you are the buyer and unable to inspect said vehicle immediately, you or an agent will have seven (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. We welcome a physical inspection to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All disputes arising out of or resulting from this sale shall be finally determined by binding arbitration in Cincinnati/Milford, Ohio in accordance with the commercial rules of arbitration of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be carried out by one or more arbitrators in accordance with said rules. Any award shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in the same manner as judgments. This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Ohio law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Ohio to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through EBay or otherwise.

Payment Terms:

Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A deposit in the amount of $950.00 must be received within Twenty-Four (24) hours of the auction close typically by PayPal ( PayPal for deposit only NOT for full payment). Purchaser cannot make any claims of ownership to said vehicle without payment in full. The buyer has seven (7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If an inspection or decision takes longer than seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within seven (7) days of the auctions close. Documentation Fee: There will be a $150.00 domestic and $250.00 international fee added to each car sold. This includes title transfer, inventory tax, holding costs, vehicle preparation, storage and priority documentation delivery.

We will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left our property. We are just being realistic; most of the cars we deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and your expectation should not be of a perfect, new car. Once full payment has been received, Seller will mail a copy of clear title, Bill of Sale, Buyers Guide and additional BMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via mail. The fully-executed forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle.

Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received.

Warranty
